Schedule an Appointment from the Waiting List<\/h1>\n

Scenario<\/div>
\nIn this example, a referral has already been added to eRecord and an appointment will be scheduled from the Outpatient Waiting List. <\/p>\n

Instructions<\/div>

<\/i> In this example, I am using the Outpatient Waiting List by Person from the Published Waiting List tab in PM Office. There are other Outpatient Waiting Lists that can be filtered by Consultant\/Specialty. You can add these waiting lists to your own Favourites \u201cMy Group\u201d; please see the How To guide<\/a> to start creating your own \u201cMy Groups\u201d.<\/div><\/p>\n

  1. From the Published Waiting List<\/strong>, select Outpatient Waiting List by Person<\/strong>, then search for the patient<\/strong> using their MRN, NHS number, or initials and date of birth.

  2. The waiting list displays.

  3. Right click on the correct line of interest and select Schedule<\/strong> from the menu.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    <\/i> SchapptBook will open with the Appointment Tab displayed. The patient name is already displayed and the encounter has been attached. <\/div>\n
  4. Complete the Appointment Type<\/strong> field by clicking the ellipsis (…)<\/strong> to view all appointment types for your service, make selection<\/strong> and click OK<\/strong>. Note: you can type the first few letters so that you see a filtered list of appointment types.

  5. Clicking the Mov<\/strong>e button will transfer the appointment details to the Work in Progress section and an appointment date and time can now be give<\/strong>n.
