  1. Open PMOffice<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select the correct waiting list from the Published Waiting Lis<\/strong>t tab.<\/li>\n
  3. Search for patient(s) by field\/filter.<\/li>\n
  4. Right click on correct encounte<\/strong>r and choose Schedule<\/strong> from the menu.<\/li>\n
  5. Click on ellipsis (…)<\/strong>, select correct appointment type<\/strong> and click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Move<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. You can now schedule date<\/strong> and time<\/strong> using a new time slot or part of a contiguous slot. See below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     
    \nScheduling the Appointment – Using a New Time Slot<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Locate the date<\/strong> for the appointment using the calendar.<\/li>\n
    2. Select the Slot<\/strong> for the correct Resource; New Appointment Types have a blue border.<\/li>\n
    3. Selecting the Schedule<\/strong> button will display the clinic details. <\/li>\n
    4. The Unconfirmed appointment displays against the resource, you must select Confirm<\/strong> to confirm the appointment.<\/li>\n
    5. Select the Correspondence Schedule Resource<\/strong>; this will display on the patient letter informing the patient who they will see. Click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    6. The appointment will now display as a confirmed (blue) New appointment against the resource. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       
      \nScheduling the Appointment – Using Part of a Contiguous Slot<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Locate the date<\/strong> for the appointment using the calendar.<\/li>\n
      2. Select the Start Time<\/strong> for the correct Resource.<\/li>\n
      3. Selecting the Schedule<\/strong> button will display the clinic details. <\/li>\n
      4. You must adjust the Patient Duration<\/strong> to reflect the minutes that this appointment will be scheduled. If this is not adjusted, this appointment will schedule longer than required! <\/li>\n
      5. The Unconfirmed appointment displays against the resource, you must select Confirm<\/strong> to confirm the appointment. <\/li>\n
      6. Select the Correspondence Schedule Resource<\/strong>; this will display on the patient letter informing the patient who they will see. Click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
