Remove a Discharged Patient from the Waiting List<\/h1>\n

Scenario<\/div>
\nOnce patients have been DNA\u2019d, the patients need to be removed from the waiting list. Patients sit in a \u201cdeferred\u201d status so need to be removed to prevent the waiting list becoming longer and more complex to navigate than it needs to be!<\/p>\n
Instructions<\/div>\n
<\/i> In this example I am using the Outpatient Waiting List by Person from the Published Waiting List tab in PM Office. <\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Open PMOffice<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. From the Published Waiting List, select Outpatient Waiting List by Person<\/strong>, then search for the patient<\/strong> using their MRN, NHS number, or initials and date of birth.

  3. When the waiting list is displayed, right\u2011click on the correct line of encounter information<\/strong>. From the menu, select Conversation<\/strong>, then choose Remove \u2013 OP Discharge<\/strong> from the sub\u2011menu (scroll if required).

  4. Complete the mandatory fields:\n
      \n
    1. Reason for Removal – DNA<\/strong> <\/li>\n
    2. Date and Time \u2013 Tip<\/strong> to use the current date and time, type the letter T into the date field and N into the time field <\/li>\n
    3. RTT Status complete as appropriate<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. OK<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
