How to create a Diagram<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Enter PowerChart and from the blue menu on the left of the screen\u00a0 -select the “Diagram Creation” Option.<\/p>\n

You should get a message in the screen saying “Diagram Creation has opened in your internet explorer browser” and “Please refresh to open again” along with the date and time you attempted to open the menu.\u00a0 If you select the refresh button in PowerChart, it will open the Diagram Creation window in an additional browser tab.<\/p>\n

The window (shown below) should open automatically.\u00a0 Your patient’s MRN, NHS number, Name and Date of Birth should be shown across the top of the screen.<\/p>\n

  1. Select your department from the drop down menu in the top left.<\/li>\n
  2. Select the background you would like for your diagram.<\/li>\n
  3. Edit the background as needed<\/li>\n
  4. Save Image<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You can use the tools on the left hand side of the screen to annotate the background.\u00a0 To do this, select the tool you want (dot, straight line, square or circle) and click on the area of the diagram you wish to annotate.<\/p>\n
