How to ensure the correct clinician\/authoriser is selected when ordering as a Dental Student.<\/p>\n

  1. From New Order Entry<\/strong>, Search<\/strong> for and select<\/strong> the item you wish to order.<\/li>\n
  2. The ‘Ordering Clinician’<\/strong> box will display.<\/li>\n
  3. Delete the name from the Clinician Name field and enter your supervisors name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    <\/i> Ensure the clinician name is updated to the correct person before proceeding. If the box does not display, see below.<\/div>\n
      \n
    1. Select the communication type<\/strong> and click OK.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. The order will move to the order basket<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Repeat steps 1 if additional orders need to be placed.<\/li>\n
    4. Proceed with completing the order details<\/strong> as usual and sign<\/strong> the order.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      If the Ordering Clinician box does not display<\/div>\n

      1. Place the order using the usual process.<\/li>\n
      2. In the Orders for Signature panel<\/strong>, right click on the order<\/strong> in the top section of the screen.<\/li>\n
      3. Select Ordering Clinician.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      4. Update the Clinician Name<\/strong> field and click OK.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      5. Complete the order details as required and click Sign.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
