How to set up a location based short patient list which shows recently discharged patients.<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  1. Select ‘Short Patient List<\/strong>‘\u00a0(top of the screen).<\/em><\/li>\r\n
  2. Click the ‘List Maintenance<\/strong>‘ icon\u00a0(spanner icon near top left).<\/em><\/li>\r\n
  3. Click ‘New<\/strong>‘.<\/li>\r\n
  4. Select ‘Location<\/strong>‘.<\/li>\r\n
  5. Click ‘Next<\/strong>‘.<\/li>\r\n
  6. Click the + on Locations\u00a0(on the right).<\/em><\/li>\r\n
  7. Click the + for the site, e.g. Freeman Hospital.<\/li>\r\n
  8. Click the + again, e.g. Freeman\u00a0(Don\u2019t click in the empty square!).<\/em><\/li>\r\n
  9. Tick the box for the ward(s) you wish to add to your list.<\/li>\r\n
  10. Select ‘Encounter Types<\/strong>‘\u00a0(on the left).<\/em><\/li>\r\n
  11. Add tick in the box for each of the following:\u00a0Day Case, Inpatient, Regular Day Admission, Regular Night Admission.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  12. Select ‘Discharge Criteria<\/strong>‘\u00a0(on the left).<\/em><\/li>\r\n
  13. Select the Option ‘Only display patients the have been discharged within the last:<\/strong>‘.<\/li>\r\n
  14. Set a\u00a0time frame<\/strong>, e.g. 3 day.<\/li>\r\n
  15. Enter a\u00a0name\u00a0<\/strong>for your list, e.g. Discharge List.<\/li>\r\n
  16. Click ‘Finish<\/strong>‘.<\/li>\r\n
  17. Select your List on the left and use the add button to move it to the right.<\/li>\r\n
  18. Optional – if you have more than one list use the up and down buttons to move your list. The list at the top is the list you will see first.<\/em><\/li>\r\n
