{"id":2027,"date":"2021-09-15T10:14:27","date_gmt":"2021-09-15T10:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=2027"},"modified":"2026-02-11T17:02:17","modified_gmt":"2026-02-11T17:02:17","slug":"short-patient-list-by-location","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=2027","title":{"rendered":"Short Patient List by Location"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>How to set up a short patient list by location.<\/p>\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1631700773536_20\">\r\n<li>Select the &#8216;<strong>Short Patient List<\/strong>&#8216; button\u00a0<em>(top of the screen).<\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>Click the &#8216;<strong>List Maintenance<\/strong>&#8216; icon\u00a0<em>(spanner icon near top left).<\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>Click &#8216;<strong>New<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/li>\r\n<li>Select &#8216;<strong>Location<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/li>\r\n<li>Click &#8216;<strong>Next<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/li>\r\n<li>Click the + on Locations\u00a0<em>(on the right).<\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>Click the + for the site, e.g. Freeman Hospital.<\/li>\r\n<li>Click the + again, e.g. Freeman\u00a0<em>(Don\u2019t click in the empty square!).<\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>Tick the box for the ward(s) you wish to add to your list.<\/li>\r\n<li>Select &#8216;<strong>Encounter Types<\/strong>&#8216;\u00a0<em>(on the left).<\/em><\/li>\r\n<li>Add tick in the box for each of the following:\u00a0<strong>Day Case, Inpatient, Regular Day Admission, Regular Night Admission.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li>Click &#8216;<strong>Finish<\/strong>&#8216;.<\/li>\r\n<li>Select your List on the left and click the add button to move it to the right.<\/li>\r\n<li><em>Optional &#8211; if you have more than one list use the up and down buttons to move your list.
