{"id":1852,"date":"2021-09-09T08:53:09","date_gmt":"2021-09-09T08:53:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=1852"},"modified":"2026-09-28T08:27:46","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T08:27:46","slug":"recording-not-given","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/?page_id=1852","title":{"rendered":"Recording Not Given"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to document a dose of medication as not given in the Drug Chart.<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li>From the drug chart, click on the <strong>dose administration<\/strong> box for the dose you want to record as Not Given.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<div class=\"warnSection\"><i class=\"fas fa-exclamation-circle\" style=\font-size:3rem\"><\/i>  If you are retrospectively documenting a medication that was Not Given earlier, change the Performed on date\/time to the correct time this was attempted.<\/div>\r\n<ol start=\"2\">\r\n<li><strong>Tick<\/strong> the <strong>Not Given<\/strong> tick box at the bottom of the window.<\/li>\r\n<li>In the Reason mandatory field, <strong>select <\/strong>the appropriate reason from the drop down.<\/li>\r\n<li>If the appropriate reason is not listed, select Other (Record Comments), and add a comment.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Sign<\/strong> the documentation and refresh the drug chart.
