How to suspend, discontinue or void a prescription.<\/p>\r\n

Suspending a Prescription<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

  1. In the patient record, select\u00a0Medication List<\/strong>\u00a0from the dark grey menu on the left<\/li>\r\n
  2. Right Click on the prescription you want to suspend and select\u00a0Suspend<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
  3. In the details section at the bottom complete the\u00a0Date<\/strong>,\u00a0Reason<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Comments<\/strong>\u00a0fields as appropriate<\/li>\r\n
  4. Click\u00a0Orders For Signature<\/strong>\u00a0in the lower right hand corner<\/li>\r\n
  5. Click\u00a0Sign<\/strong>\u00a0then\u00a0Refresh<\/strong>\u00a0the screen<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    Resuming a Suspended Prescription<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
      \r\n
    1. In the patient record, select\u00a0Medication List<\/strong>\u00a0from the dark grey menu on the left<\/li>\r\n
    2. Right Click on the prescription you want to suspend and select\u00a0Resume<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
    3. In the details section at the bottom complete the\u00a0Resume Date<\/strong> and\u00a0Reason<\/strong>\u00a0fields as appropriate<\/li>\r\n
    4. Click\u00a0Orders For Signature<\/strong>\u00a0in the lower right hand corner<\/li>\r\n
    5. Click\u00a0Sign<\/strong>\u00a0then\u00a0Refresh<\/strong>\u00a0the screen<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
      Discontinuing a Prescription<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
      <\/i> Do not cancel\/ discontinue an existing prescription and re-prescribe if all you want to do is change the scheduled administration times\/dates.<\/a><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

      1. In the patient record, select\u00a0Medication List<\/strong><\/strong>\u00a0from the dark grey menu on the left<\/li>\r\n
      2. Right Click on the prescription you want to discontinue and select\u00a0Cancel\/DC<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
      3. In the details section at the bottom complete the\u00a0Date<\/strong>,\u00a0Reason<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Comments<\/strong>\u00a0fields as appropriate<\/li>\r\n
      4. Click\u00a0Orders For Signature<\/strong>\u00a0in the lower right hand corner<\/li>\r\n
      5. Click\u00a0Sign<\/strong>\u00a0then\u00a0Refresh<\/strong>\u00a0the screen<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
        Voiding a Prescription<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

        1. In the patient record, select\u00a0Medication List<\/strong><\/strong>\u00a0from the dark grey menu on the left<\/li>\r\n
        2. Right Click on the prescription you want to void and select\u00a0Void<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
        3. In the details section at the bottom complete the\u00a0Date<\/strong>,\u00a0Reason<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Comments<\/strong>\u00a0fields as appropriate<\/li>\r\n
