How to complete an out patient prescription when the medication will be supplied in the clinic.<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  1. In the Clinician workflow click on\u00a0New Order Entry<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0Outpatient<\/strong>\u00a0tab<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  2. Ensure the\u00a0Outpatient Prescription<\/strong>\u00a0button is selected<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  3. Search for and select the Medication required and if applicable the most appropriate order sentence<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  4. If ordering more than one medication repeat Step 3<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  5. If Ordering Clinician window appears select Communication Type<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  6. Complete any missing required details for order and sign<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  7. Discern Outpatient Prescription window pops-up, click\u00a0Yes<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  8. Complete the following fields in the Pharmacy Outpatient Prescription window:<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n

    • \r\n
        \r\n
      • Where should the Patient get their medication dispensed? –\u00a0Nurse Supply<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
      • What is your current contact number? \u2013\u00a0Place current contact number<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
      • Collection Priority \u2013\u00a0Tick relevant box<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
      • Other relevant information for this OP Prescription \u2013\u00a0Add any relevant information if necessary<\/strong><\/li>\r\n
      • Sign the form by clicking Green tick<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n
          \r\n
        1. The medication ordered is now visible in the\u00a0Home Medications\u00a0<\/strong>section of the Outpatient Workflow\r\n
            \r\n\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
