This guide shows how to prescribe a medication to be given in clinic.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

  1. In the relevant Workflow<\/strong> click on\u00a0New Order Entry.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  2. Ensure the\u00a0Given in Clinic<\/strong> button is selected.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  3. Search for and select the Medication required and if applicable the most appropriate order sentence.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  4. If you are ordering more than one medication repeat Step 3.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  5. If the Ordering Clinician window appears select Communication Type.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  6. Open shopping basket<\/strong> and Sign<\/strong> order.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  7. Complete any missing required details for order and click the Sign button at the bottom right.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  8. The Medication ordered will now be visible in the\u00a0Order Profile\u00a0<\/strong>section of the Outpatient Workflow.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
  9. The Nurse will be able to document the administration of the medication from Drug Chart in the Patient Record.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
