If there are any mandatory questions, these will be displayed in yellow and must be completed before the medication can be signed off<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Frequency<\/strong>&nbsp;in the left side of the details and select&nbsp;<strong>ONCE<\/strong>&nbsp;in the right side detail values<\/li><li>To enter any further information regarding administration instructions etc., click the<strong>&nbsp;Order Comments<\/strong>&nbsp;tab and complete as appropriate<\/li><li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Sign<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prescribe STAT dose at the start of a course of medication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The medication&nbsp;<strong>Order Details<\/strong>&nbsp;form will display. If there are any mandatory questions, these will be displayed in yellow and must be completed before the medication can be signed off<\/li><li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Frequency<\/strong>&nbsp;in the left side of the details and choose the most appropriate option in the right side detail values<\/li><li>Back on the left side window, answer the question<strong>&nbsp;\u2018Give first dose now?\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;and select&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Yes STAT x 1st Dose\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;from the right side detail values<\/li><li><strong>Sign<\/strong>&nbsp;the order and&nbsp;<strong>refresh<\/strong>&nbsp;your screen &#8211; this will prescribe an immediate dose and the medication will then pick up the schedule from the next scheduled dose<\/li><li>Finally, check the&nbsp;<strong>Drug Summary<\/strong>&nbsp;screen to check the future scheduled doses and to ensure the interval between doses is appropriate. If not, please make amendments to remove inappropriate doses.
