This customisable tool allows clinicians to manage multiple patients&#8217; care by providing a snapshot of patient information, quick access to documentation and ability to create an Action list (To Do list).<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">Accessing Doctors Worklist<\/div><br \/>\nYou are within Powerchart:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on <strong>Doctors Worklist<\/strong> in the top grey menu bar.<br \/>\n<strong>OR<\/strong> click on <strong>View<\/strong> in the top grey menu bar and select <strong>Doctors Worklist<\/strong> from the drop down menu.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Select List<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Patient List<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the correct list to view. If only one, you must still click on it.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Establish Relationships<\/strong> in top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">Customising the Worklist<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Click on setting icon in top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16191\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/DW-settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"126\" height=\"73\" \/><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Click on <strong>Layout Configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Configure columns.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pinned columns<\/strong> allows up to 5 columns in a locked position. These columns will be fixed and not horizontally scrollable.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other Columns<\/strong> will form part of the horizontal scrollable view.<\/li>\n<li>To view or hide columns, <strong>check or uncheck<\/strong> the tick box next to the column title.<\/li>\n<li>To re-order the column positions, <strong>click and drag<\/strong> the relevant title to the desired position<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Apply<\/strong> to update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Configure row height by selecting appropriate <strong>radio button<\/strong>. Choose between 1 to 5 lines. Click <strong>Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">Column Field Types<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Data<\/strong>&#8211; Most fields contain data but due to size restrictions, the view is not complete.<br \/>\nClick on the field and a window opens from the right for a full view.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ad hoc form links<\/strong>&#8211; The <strong>Task<\/strong> field will display <strong>links to ad hoc forms<\/strong>.<br \/>\nClick on <strong>Document<\/strong> and the ad hoc form will open for you to complete.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Actions <\/strong>(To Do list)- Actions can be created and marked as done from the new window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">I-PASS<\/div>\n<p>Clicking in the blank space to the right of a patient name will open I-PASS.<br \/>\nHere you can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select <strong>Illness severity<\/strong>: Unstable, Watch, Stable or Discharging.<\/li>\n<li>Enter <strong>comments<\/strong> in fields.
