Overview of Doctors Worklist within PowerChart. This customisable tool allows clinicians to manage multiple patients’ care by providing a snapshot of patient information, quick access to documentation and ability to create an Action list (To Do list).<\/p>\n

Accessing Doctors Worklist<\/div>
\nYou are within Powerchart:<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. Click on Doctors Worklist<\/strong> in the top grey menu bar.
    \nOR<\/strong> click on View<\/strong> in the top grey menu bar and select Doctors Worklist<\/strong> from the drop down menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on Select List<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Click on Patient List<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Select the correct list to view. If only one, you must still click on it.<\/li>\n
  5. Click on Establish Relationships<\/strong> in top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Customising the Worklist<\/div>\n
      \n
    1. Click on setting icon in top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Click on Layout Configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      2. Configure columns.\n
          \n
        • Pinned columns<\/strong> allows up to 5 columns in a locked position. These columns will be fixed and not horizontally scrollable.<\/li>\n
        • Other Columns<\/strong> will form part of the horizontal scrollable view.<\/li>\n
        • To view or hide columns, check or uncheck<\/strong> the tick box next to the column title.<\/li>\n
        • To re-order the column positions, click and drag<\/strong> the relevant title to the desired position<\/li>\n
        • Click Apply<\/strong> to update.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Configure row height by selecting appropriate radio button<\/strong>. Choose between 1 to 5 lines. Click Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          Column Field Types<\/div>\n
            \n
          1. Data<\/strong>– Most fields contain data but due to size restrictions, the view is not complete.
            \nClick on the field and a window opens from the right for a full view.<\/li>\n
          2. Ad hoc form links<\/strong>– The Task<\/strong> field will display links to ad hoc forms<\/strong>.
            \nClick on Document<\/strong> and the ad hoc form will open for you to complete.<\/li>\n
          3. Actions <\/strong>(To Do list)- Actions can be created and marked as done from the new window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            I-PASS<\/div>\n

            Clicking in the blank space to the right of a patient name will open I-PASS.
            \nHere you can:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • Select Illness severity<\/strong>: Unstable, Watch, Stable or Discharging.<\/li>\n
            • Enter comments<\/strong> in fields. Be sure to click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
            • Actions<\/strong> field allows for the creation of a To Do list where Actions can be set and ticked off when completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Clinical Data<\/div>
              \nTo the right of the I-PASS tab is Clinical Data<\/strong> where patient Vital Signs<\/strong>, Labs<\/strong>, Medications<\/strong> and Fluid Balance<\/strong> can be viewed.<\/p>\n

              Creating a Filtered Patient List<\/div>
              \nUse Filter<\/strong> to view a list of patients based on Patient name\/parameters<\/strong>, Severity<\/strong> or Diagnosis<\/strong>.
