- Navigate to Message Centre\u00a0<\/strong>and make sure you have the Inbox<\/strong> tab open<\/li>\n
- Click Results<\/strong> or Documents<\/strong> (for forwarded non-numerical results) from the menu on the left. The Display drop-down will show the available date range for viewing results<\/li>\n
- Clicking a result once they have loaded will show an Action Pane<\/strong> in yellow towards the bottom of the screen<\/li>\n
- Click to select either Endorse<\/strong> or Refuse<\/strong> for the result in the Action Pane<\/li>\n
- Click OK<\/strong> to just action that specific result or click OK & Next<\/strong> to continue endorsing or refusing results<\/li>\n
- Check both\u00a0Results<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Documents<\/strong>\u00a0to confirm all items have been addressed<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
<\/i> If you require someone else to endorse\/sign the result, click on Additional Forward, choose ‘sign’ and leave a comment.<\/p>\nIf you require a second opinion of the result, click on Additional Forward, choose ‘Review’ and leave a comment.<\/div>\n

Results Journal<\/div>\nIt is also possible to check if a result has been endorsed or refused from the Results Journal<\/strong> which can be accessed from the Results section of the Inbox or the Pools tab in Message Centre.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\nThe Results Journal<\/strong> lists all results that have been either endorsed or refused by a clinician. The summary screen does not indicate which action was taken. If a comment has been added, it will be shown.<\/p>\n
If a result is endorsed by someone else (via proxy or pool), it appears in the Lead Clinician\u2019s Results Journal<\/strong>, not in the journal of the person who carried out the endorsement.<\/p>\n
However, there are limitations with this list:<\/p>\n
- \n
- No MRN<\/strong> is displayed.<\/li>\n
- No link<\/strong> to the patient record.<\/li>\n
- The displayed list does not include<\/strong> endorsed, signed, or reviewed documents\/results (e.g. radiology).<\/li>\n
- To check whether a numerical result was endorsed or refused, and by whom (proxy, pool etc.):\n

- Right-click on the result<\/li>\n
- Select View Details<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Go to the Action List<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
