Changes to the patient record<\/div><\/span><\/h2>\n

The patient record’s navigation menu and demographics\/banner bar has been updated, along with a functionality change for Treatment Escalation Plan.<\/p>\n

Detailed below are the changes that have been applied to doctor-related accounts:<\/p>\n

Treatment Escalation Plan<\/div><\/span><\/h3>\n

  1. To view\/record either a DNACPR\u00a0<\/strong>or a\u00a0Treatment Escalation Plan and Resuscitation Status<\/strong> powerform, click on “Treatment Escalation Plan”\u00a0<\/strong>on the left hand side in the Navigation Menu.

    <\/i> TEP\/DNACPR is no longer found by clicking on the patient’s name in the top left corner<\/div>
    \n<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. Scroll down until you see the Treatment Escalation Plan<\/strong> and Resus Status\u00a0<\/strong>component
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the “+<\/strong>v” button on the right side, then select either DNACPR<\/strong> or Treatment Escalation Plan and Resuscitation Status
    \n<\/strong>\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. Complete the powerform as normal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Demographics\/banner bar<\/div><\/span><\/h3>\n

    The demographics\/banner bar has been redesigned, removing the duplication of the patient’s name and highlighting key, important information, such as:<\/p>\n

    Resus: <\/strong>(Resuscitation status)
    \nTEP: <\/strong>(Treatment Escalation Plan)
    \nAllergies:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Accentuated in bold, these elements are now situated within the middle of the demographics\/banner bar. A slimmer font style has been applied to the rest of the text to emphasise the importance of these elements.<\/p>\n

    Navigation Menu<\/div><\/span><\/h3>\n

    \nThe navigation menu has been redesigned, keeping core functionality the same although moving menu pages around and bringing in changes such as:<\/p>\n

    Renamed menu pages:\u00a0<\/strong>Some menu pages have been renamed to improve the clarity of their purpose. For example, Document Viewing<\/strong> has been renamed to Note Viewing<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Grouping menu items together by category: <\/strong>For example, all of the drug related menu pages (Drug List, Drug Chart and Drug Summary) are all now grouped together.<\/p>\n

    Spaced out menu items:<\/strong>\u00a0To improve readability and structure, separating menu pages<\/p>\n

    Pages that have been renamed and their new names:
    \nClinician Workflow > Workflows<\/strong>
    \nResults Review > Results<\/strong>
    \nPatient Task List > Patient Tasks<\/strong>
    \neObservations > Observations<\/strong>
    \neObservation Variations > Variances<\/strong>
    \nDocument Viewing > Note Viewing<\/strong>
