How to Opt In to a Pool<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. From within Powerchart’s Message Centre, click on the Pools<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. In the Available Pools<\/strong> field, type in your ward<\/strong>.\n
      \n
    • Please note:<\/strong> When searching for a ward pool you must start with the location code\n
        \n
      • FH<\/strong> = Freeman Hospital e.g. FH02<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • RV<\/strong> = Royal Victoria Infirmary e.g. RV42<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • GNCH<\/strong> = Great North Children’s Hospital e.g. GNCH07<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • NCCC<\/strong> = Northern Centre for Cancer Care e.g. NCCC32<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Click on the magnifying glass button<\/strong> to initiate the search.<\/li>\n
      • Select the correct result<\/strong> listed in the left window.<\/li>\n
      • Click on Opt In<\/strong>, located between the two windows.<\/li>\n
      • Repeat steps 3-6 as required.<\/li>\n
      • Click on OK<\/strong> at the bottom right side of window.<\/li>\n
      • In the new window, click OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
      • Your pool\/s are now available to view.<\/li>\n
      • Toggle between pools by using the Pools<\/strong> drop down field.<\/li>\n
      • Control the viewing time frame by using the Display<\/strong> drop down field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        How to Opt Out of a Pool<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Click on the Pools<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
        2. Click on Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. From the Member Pools list, select the pool you no longer require.<\/li>\n
        4. Click on Opt Out<\/strong>, located between the two panes. Repeat as required.<\/li>\n
        5. Click OK at the bottom right side of window.<\/li>\n
        6. Click on OK<\/strong> in the ‘Commit Progress’ pop up window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          How to Set a Default Pool<\/strong><\/p>\n

          1. Click on Inbox<\/strong> in the top grey menu bar.<\/li>\n
          2. Click on Manage Preferences<\/strong> from the drop down list.<\/li>\n
          3. A new window opens. Click on the drop down arrow<\/strong> by Default Pool<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
          4. Select the pool<\/strong> to become the default. The name will then populate the Default Pool box.<\/li>\n
