Countersigning a DNACPR decision<\/h1>\n

When a DNACPR Resuscitation plan has been documented, it will be clear in the banner bar if this needs to be countersigned by a senior clinician. Follow these steps to countersign a DNACPR decision in PowerChart.<\/p>\n

Instructions<\/div>\n

  1. Click on Treatment Escalation Plan<\/strong> in the blue menu<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \"\"<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Scroll down to the \u201cActivities\u201d section and select the most recent Treatment Escalation Plan and Resuscitation Status form<\/strong>, then click on the Modify button<\/strong> at the top right to review the details recorded in the form.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Click on the Signing section<\/strong> when you are satisfied with the contents of the other sections.<\/li>\n
      2. Select Countersign now<\/strong> and add your details<\/strong> to the mandatory fields in the Senior Signatory section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Click the green tick<\/strong> in the top left to sign the form.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
