The following quick guide will show how to access the DNACPR forms within PowerChart and show the key features.<\/p>\n

  1. Open<\/strong> a Patient\u2019s record within PowerChart<\/strong>, click\u00a0Treatment Escalation Plan<\/strong>\u00a0in the blue menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. This will display the details of the DNACPR<\/strong> status and show when the appropriate documents were created and by whom.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      1. Click \"\"and select a document to Add<\/strong> or Modify<\/strong> from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        • Some of the forms available are:
          \nTreatment Escalation Plan and Resuscitation Status<\/strong>: Use this form to document a Treatment.
          \nEscalation Plan and\/or a DNACPR decision.
          \nDNACPR Review:<\/strong> Use this form to review a previous DNACPR decision. You can confirm that.
          \nDNACPR is still valid or that it needs to be rescinded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          1. To counter sign<\/strong> the TEP form: Under Details select the TEP form<\/strong> and select Modify.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. One the Signing page<\/strong>, select Counter Sign Now. <\/strong>Mandatory yellow fields will enable you to record your details.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              1. The form will update the blue banner bar<\/strong>, at the top of the patient\u2019s record and will show the current.
                \nDNACPR status<\/strong>, date<\/strong>, and time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
