Help Your Profile to Learn by Correcting Voice Recognition Mistakes<\/p>\n

For the software to learn, errors must be corrected within 20 minutes.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n

 
\nErrors can be corrected in one of three ways:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Type the correction with the keyboard.
    \nFluency Direct will learn from typed corrections though it will take multiple times to take effect. This is to account for the situation where it is meant to be a one-time correction.<\/li>\n

  2. Use the Correct Selection<\/strong> command.<\/li>\n
      \n
    1. Select the word or phrase either by highlighting using your mouse<\/strong> or press Play<\/strong> and say “select [text]<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n

      Play vs Record microphone buttons.
      \nNormally we press the record button when dictating; however, when issuing a command, it is best to use the play button as this tells the software that it is listening for a command. If you use the record button when issuing a command, it could be recognised as a command OR it could be rendered as voice to text.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n

    2. Press Play <\/strong>and say \u201ccorrect selection<\/strong>\u201d or “correct that<\/strong>” to open the error correction window.<\/li>\n
    3. You will be presented with a list of choices. To accept a choice, press Play<\/strong> and say \u201cchoose [number]<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n
    4. If your correction is not listed, type the correct word in the text box<\/strong>. To add to dictionary, press Play<\/strong> and say “Add 1<\/strong>“.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Add the corrected word into your Dictionary.<\/li>\n
          \n
        1. Highlight corrected word, press Play <\/strong>and say “add to dictionary<\/strong>“. The dictionary entry window displays. <\/li>\n
        2. Choose the correct category for the word. <\/li>\n
        3. Click Change<\/strong> to add a pronunciation then select the Record Pronunciation<\/strong> tab to record your pronunciation of the word.<\/li>\n
        4. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ol>\n
