<\/span>How to edit device reports in ICNET<\/span><\/h1>\n

This guide shows how to edit reports in the ICNET system. Specifically reports related to invasive devices are covered in this guide.<\/p>\n

Edit a report overview<\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Search<\/strong> for the report you would like to run and click the Edit selection<\/strong> icon in the Actions<\/strong> column.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/i> TOP TIP: Select collapse all in the top right of the screen to make navigating the screen easier. \"\" <\/div><\/div>\n

    1. A set of parameters will be displayed for the report and then for each series.<\/li>\n
    2. Commonly edited report settings include:\n
        \n
      • Dates<\/strong> \u2013 change the timeframe for the report.<\/li>\n
      • Report format<\/strong> \u2013 change how the chart section display, e.g. pie chart or line graph.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

        1. Commonly edited series data includes:\n
            \n
          • Devices<\/strong> \u2013 edit which devices are included. A filter can also be applied to see devices only with a speciality.<\/li>\n
          • Extended properties<\/strong> \u2013 allows extended properties to be added such as concerns with the device site.<\/li>\n
          • Patient<\/strong> \u2013 edit patient criteria such as sex, age, patient status and patient tags.<\/li>\n
          • Location<\/strong> \u2013 filter the data based on ward, directorate or hospital.<\/li>\n
          • Additional columns<\/strong> \u2013 add additional columns into the table data, for example, additional patient data such as GP, home address. Also add tags and extended device properties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                1. If the report has more than one series each series section will need to be edited.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Add a parameter<\/div>\n
                    \n
                  1. Expand the relevant section using the plus<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \"\"<\/div>\n
                      \n
                    1. Find the parameter you would like to add\/edit and click<\/strong> anywhere in the box<\/strong>. Alternatively click Choose<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                      1. The Select Item panel will open<\/strong>. Folders containing the available items will show in the top left panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        <\/span>Add entire group<\/span><\/h3>\n

                        1. Select<\/strong> the item in the top left panel.<\/li>\n
                        2. Click Add entire group.<\/strong><\/li>\n
                        3. Click Finish.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                          <\/span>Add individual items<\/span><\/h3>\n
                            \n
                          1. Select the item folder<\/strong> in the top left panel. All items available in this group will now display in the Items from group panel below.<\/li>\n
                          2. Select<\/strong> each item you would like to add. TOP TIP: Multi select by holding the CTRL key as you click.<\/li>\n
                          3. Alternatively, find the item you are looking for by typing into the Filter box<\/strong> and then click on it to select.<\/li>\n
                          4. Click Add items<\/strong>. This will add any selected (highlighted) items into the Selected items panel.<\/li>\n
                          5. Repeat process to add any additional items.<\/li>\n
                          6. Click Finish<\/strong>. The selected items will now display in the report screen and will be applied when you run the report.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                            Exclude a parameter<\/div><\/div>\n

                            1. Follow the steps as above to select the parameter to exclude.<\/li>\n
                            2. Tick the box for Exclude selected<\/strong>. When you run the report the selected parameters will be excluded.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
