It also allows you to click the Home button (which takes you back to the mediSIGHT homepage.<\/p>\n<p>You can hover over the allergies section to view their <strong>drug allergies and non-drug allergies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hovering your cursor over the flags section shows their <strong>recorded flags<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13265\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"146\" height=\"80\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you open a patient record, it will take you to the <strong>Overview <\/strong>page. This gives you a wholistic summary of their record, such as which pathways they are on, their diagnoses, any planned procedures and visits, injections, VA\u2019s, IOPs, Diabetic Status and more.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13261\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"412\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture6.png 412w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture6-300x154.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 412px) 100vw, 412px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Plan<\/strong> section (formerly known as <strong>Management plan)<\/strong> is located in the <strong>bottom left corner<\/strong> of the page, <strong>you may have to scroll down to see it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13262\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"229\" height=\"230\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture7.png 229w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Picture7-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 229px) 100vw, 229px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The layout is the same for all staff, regardless of permissions. Only the medical information on the patient\u2019s record will differ per patient.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Visual_Acuity\"><\/span>Visual Acuity<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13490\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"334\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture1.png 334w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture1-300x192.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 334px) 100vw, 334px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The VA chart will always show in the top right corner of the of Overview page, and will display the patient\u2019s VA scores. If the most recent score <strong>(text above chart and circle)<\/strong> is coloured <strong>green<\/strong>, their vision has <strong>stabilised or improved<\/strong> since their previous test. If the most recent score <strong>(text above chart and circle)<\/strong> is coloured <strong>red<\/strong>, their vision has <strong>deteriorated<\/strong> since their previous test.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hovering over a point<\/strong> in the chart will show the test\u2019s <strong>score, correction method<\/strong> and <strong>date recorded:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13572\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture84.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"102\" height=\"98\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Viewing_Summaries\"><\/span><div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">Viewing Summaries<\/div><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To access the <strong>Summaries <\/strong>page, click on <strong>Summaries <\/strong>in the <strong>Navigation Menu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13492\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"155\" height=\"31\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture3.png 155w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture3-150x31.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 155px) 100vw, 155px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The summaries page will show a variety of data, which can be changed by using the data boxes above the charts. To view scores on the chart, you can hover over each point.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13493\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"588\" height=\"38\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture4.png 588w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture4-300x19.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 588px) 100vw, 588px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Summaries <\/strong>page has two \u201cviews\u201d: <strong>Retina or Glaucoma.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Choosing either of these options will display different information. The <strong>Retina<\/strong> tab will show injection plans, Visual Acuity and all its relevant information (just like the overview page), as well as IOP down below. The <strong>Glaucoma<\/strong> tab will show medication, Visual Fields and IOP down below.<\/p>\n<p>You can select which eye you want to view by selecting either \u201dRight\u201d, \u201cBoth\u201d, or \u201cLeft\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13495\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"196\" height=\"30\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selecting the \u201cIn view\u201d box allows you to select what time frame to pull information from.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13496\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"113\" height=\"62\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selecting \u201c<strong>IOP &#8211; Method<\/strong>\u201d or \u201c<strong>VA \u2013<\/strong> <strong>Correction<\/strong>\u201d allows you to filter the scores shown to be only the choice selected, as by default you will see all tests record using all IOP methods or VA scores using all correction methods.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13497\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"221\" height=\"22\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Selecting data labels allows you to show all data labels without the need for hovering over them to see their information: <em>(NOTE:\u00a0 you can enable these data labels within your <strong>Tools &gt; Settings<\/strong> page, where you only have to do this once and your choices will be remembered, saving you having to enable these data labels every time you visit the <strong>Summaries<\/strong> page)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13498\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"118\" height=\"134\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13499\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"128\" height=\"134\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reporting_Medications\"><\/span><div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">Reporting Medications<\/div><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Medications can be reported onto mediSIGHT as they do not pull in automatically from eRecord (Powerchart). Reporting a medication is not prescribing it, it is essentially putting it on their record for informational purposes. You can report a medication halfway through a pre-op assessment, or you can manually report them going into the <strong>Medications <\/strong>section:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13500\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"139\" height=\"32\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Medications page will show all <strong>Current (green) <\/strong>and <strong>Past (pink) <\/strong>medications, reported or prescribed within mediSOFT\/mediSIGHT<\/p>\n<p>To report a new medication, click on the <strong>Report new<\/strong> button<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13501\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture12.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"112\" height=\"36\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A section will appear above the medication list and will prompt you to either search for a medication:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13502\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture13.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"363\" height=\"57\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture13.png 363w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture13-300x47.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 363px) 100vw, 363px\" \/><br \/>\nOr to select a medication from a list of commonly reported medications:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13503\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture14.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"69\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once a medication has been selected, you will be prompted to enter relevant information:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13504\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"247\" height=\"164\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Note: only \u201cStatus\u201d is mandatory.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Once information has been entered, click the blue <strong>\u201cOK\u201d<\/strong> button, which will then take that information and place it under the medication on the right hand side.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, you can search for another medication and repeat this process to report more, or you can click <strong>\u201cConfirm all\u201d <\/strong>to finalise the reporting of the medication.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13505\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture16.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"316\" height=\"80\" srcset=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture16.png 316w, https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture16-300x76.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 316px) 100vw, 316px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Creating_an_assessment\"><\/span><div class=\"guideSection\" id=\"\">Creating an assessment<\/div><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To create a <strong>Assessment<\/strong>, click on <strong>Create New + <\/strong>in the <strong>Navigation Menu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13506\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture17.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"106\" height=\"109\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then click <strong>Assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13507\" src=\"https:\/\/training.nuth-itt.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Picture19.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"34\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You may get a pop-up window asking you to <strong>choose a planned visit<\/strong>.
