How to complete the required details for a radiology order.<\/p>\n

  1. From within the patient record, on the correct encounter, click on New Order Entry<\/strong> from any Workflow tab that contains this component; or click on Add <\/strong>from the Requests\/Care Plans <\/strong>tab.<\/li>\n
  2. Search <\/strong>for the relevant Radiology order and click the order once to select it.<\/li>\n
  3. Click the relevant order<\/strong> in search results and it will drop into the basket in top right side of screen.<\/li>\n
  4. Click the order basket<\/strong> and a summary of order(s) will be shown.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Sign<\/strong>. A new screen will display.<\/li>\n
  6. Complete the Relevant Clinical Details<\/strong> field \u2013 this must contain sufficient medical data to enable the practitioner to decide whether there is sufficient net benefit to the exposure (continue in the Additional reason for request section if necessary).<\/li>\n
  7. Complete all other required fields<\/li>\n
  8. Sign<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If the patient is female and of child bearing potential complete the additional steps below:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Is the patient pregnant?<\/strong> \u2013 Select Yes, No or Not Known<\/li>\n
    2. LMP<\/strong> \u2013 Enter the date of the patient\u2019s Last Menstrual Period<\/li>\n
