<\/span>How to Copy a Table from a Document in Document Store<\/span><\/h1>\n

Scenario<\/div>
\nIt is possible to copy a table from a letter held in document store by converting it into a Word table which you can then paste into your document.
\nThis is a not a very straightforward process so you may find it easier to create a new letter using the Duplicate button.<\/p>\n

Instructions<\/div><\/p>\n

<\/span>Copy from Document Store<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Open the letter from Document Store.<\/li>\n
  2. Click PDF<\/strong> to open the document in PDF form:

  3. Highlight<\/strong> the table (use your mouse to drag across the text):
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. Copy the table using Ctrl C<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/span>Paste into Document<\/span><\/h3>\n

    1. Open Microsoft Word<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Press\u00a0Ctrl V<\/strong> to paste<\/strong> the copied table into your Word document.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      <\/span>Convert to Table<\/span><\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Select the text.

      2. Click on\u00a0Insert<\/strong> in top grey menu bar.<\/li>\n
      3. Click the drop down arrow from the Table<\/strong> menu.<\/li>\n
      4. Select\u00a0Convert Text to Table:<\/strong>

      5. Select\u00a0number of columns.<\/strong><\/li>\n
      6. Select or type the\u00a0symbol<\/strong> that separates the columns (i.e. full colon symbol):

      7. Click OK<\/strong> and the text will be converted to a Microsoft Word table.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        <\/span>Copy and Paste<\/span><\/h3>\n

        1. Select the full table then press\u00a0Ctrl C\u00a0<\/strong>or right click and choose copy from menu.<\/li>\n
        2. Open the document that you wish to paste the table into and press\u00a0Ctrl V<\/strong> or right click and choose paste from the menu.<\/li>\n
        3. Click inside the table and the table menu will appear.<\/li>\n
        4. Click on\u00a0Table Properties<\/strong>. You can make adjustments to spacing and formatting using the table properties menu:
